Situated 2 kms from Blue flag beach White Strand with a lifeguard on duty and also a Lovely swimming cove Cuas Crom is 2.5 kms from the house. Both beaches are within walking distance from the house and very safe for swimming
The nearest Golf course is Waterville Links which is 15 Kms from the house and a new course Hogs Head which is situated in Waterville also. Dooks golf club is 25kms in the Killorglin direction from the house
Valentia Island Sea sports is 8 kms from Cahersiveen and a little further away is Derrynane Sea sports where you can book day trips for the family and is a 30 minute scenic drive from Cahersiveen. Cappanalea Outdoor Pursuits centre is a 30 minute drive also and offers summer camps for children or day trips
Our house is pet friendly and you are permitted to keep your dog/ cat in the house but we do ask that the pets stay in the kitchen area and are not permitted in the bedrooms or the sitting room. We do ask that you keep your pets under control as you are living in a working sheep farm
