The location is secluded and lovely.. The scenery is superb, with stunning views from the dining room areas. All rooms comfortable and extremely clean. We are already considering going back there again next year, it was that lovely.

It was the view that sold this to us and, when we got there, it was more spectacular than we could have imagined.. What a location! The cottage is massive and comes complete with all mod cons (washer, dryer, dishwasher etc.). It's accessed up a narrow road from the main Ring of Kerry route but is easy to find, especially if you follow the signs to the adjoining garage (which was not at all noisy). As one would expect given the remote location there's no internet but a good 3G/4G mobile signal so you can use a smartphone as a mobile hotspot (data permitting). This was good enough to watch Sky Sports on a laptop. All rooms are spacious and comfortable and the owner, Mr Sweeney, is happy to help when required.

We didn’t have to refer to the owner, who was nearby, much after our meeting on arrival but he was very helpful when asked..

The cottage was the best we have ever stayed in, the views were breathtaking, we were fortunate to be there when it was sunny and hot for the whole 7 days, narrow lane to access the property, amenities a short drive away, but this was far outweighed, looking over Kenmare Bay, spectacular, we really wanted to stay longer where as normally we are getting ready to return home to our home comforts, not on this occasion..

The view was brilliant (on a good-weather day), but the road access was a little tricky.. The property was very much better equipped than most self-catering cottages we've stayed in and everything worked. It was very spacious. Very quiet location. Good access to the Kerry Way itself. The owner was very amenable. It was better than the last Sykes property we stayed in.

We have been having family holidays in rented cottages in Ireland over the last 12 years and we couldn't fault this one. 'Near Sneem' is misleading. It's near Castlecove.

Quiet and peaceful but ideally placed on the Ring of Kerry. Large site which is ideal for kids, games Bbqs etc. The cottage is set on a minor road with little traffic close to the Kerry Way. Very well equipped and comfortable.

This house is very well located and has really excellent sea views.. It is very well fitted and clean. It has a big kitchen, a utility room and a conservatory all with newly tiled floors which is what you need on a holiday like this. A lot of care had obviously been taken by the owners to prepare the house and they left us a pint of milk and some cake from a local bakery. We would recommend it.
