There's an undeniable charm to this rustic villa. A treasure trove of authentic antiques, many of the curiosities dotted about hail from the host's travels all over Greece. The atmosphere is homey and warm – we're particularly fond of the exposed stone walls, crackling fireplace and bright blue door and window frames. But most of all, we're swooning over the outside space. Oodles of terraces and balconies show off the exquisite sea view – just stretch out on a lounge chair, pour yourself a glass of wine, and bask in the tranquil Aegean scenery.

If you can pull yourself away from the panoramas, Tinos Town (known as Chora to the locals) is just a thirteen-minute drive away. As it’s the capital of the island, you'll find a myriad of restaurants, bars, shops and galleries to tickle your fancy. For a beach day, Paralia Lichnaftia is a ten-minute drive, although there are plenty more sandy shores to visit along the coast. You can even enjoy a day trip to Mykonos – it's about half an hour away on the ferry.
