We can easily picture ourselves here, rustling up spanakopita in the kitchen and napping on the couch. There's no shortage of spots to idle away sunny days, either. Start the day with a cup of coffee on the balcony, then pass the afternoons floating in the pool and lounging on the chairs. In the evening, fire up the built-in barbecue for an outdoor dinner, and relax on the terrace with a cocktail as the sun sets over the sea.

If you fancy a taste of local cuisine, Glossa has a small array of cafes, bakeries and tavernas within walking distance. For a day on the coast, we suggest driving fifteen minutes to Spilia Beach – it's tucked between two caves and has crystal-clear water perfect for swimming – before visiting the clifftop Chapel of St. John (also known as the Mamma Mia church). Or, if you're in the mood for hustle and bustle, Skopelos Town is forty minutes by car.
