Preceding Poseidon as the ruler of oceans, we’d like to think the Oceanus, titan god of old, would be very pleased with this dramatic view of the Mediterranean Sea. From here – whilst in the cooling, crystalline waters of the private pool, no less – you can always keep one eye trained on the horizon as you casually paddle about. Especially with the pool heated, you’ll not only be able, but also more than willing, to spend the entire day in the water like a naiad. Slip out to claim one of the sunloungers and soak up some rays whilst lunch is sizzling on the grill, and once ready enjoy alfresco under the awning. The hues of blue and white inside are welcome hints of where you are – not that you’d forget given the incredible vistas on offer in most of the rooms. In the afternoon, when you retire to your room for a power nap, we encourage you to throw open the balcony doors to let the fresh, seasalt breeze in. After, you might even enjoy a cup of steaming coffee from this private little nook whilst you wake up properly. Days out can be spent at the golf course – if you’re so inclined – a mere eight-minute drive away, or take a trip to Lindos village or the town centre of Faliraki to browse the wares and explore the beautiful surroundings. When you’re on a mission to find gyros, there are a few tavernas around, and you might even find yourself stopping off at the cocktail bar eight minutes away.
