Built with the Cycladian spirit in mind, this honey-hued villa embraces all that we love about Paros. A huge wooden pergola juts out from the villa, shading plush seating, loungers and dining for the whole group. Beyond this, an infinity-edge pool sprawls before you, crowned with striking black urns. To the side, you’ve got a traditional-style stone sofa piled high with cushions and shaded by a crisp white awning. That’s not to mention the view. Every angle from the terrace has a panorama of fields stretching to the Aegean Sea.
Inside, white stone walls are livened up with unique works of modern art, splashing the place with colour. There’s something zen-like about the decor, perhaps it’s the Southeast Asian inspired kitchen cupboards, or teak desks and dressers in bedrooms. Speaking of which, this place embraces the Greecian custom of stone-built beds that seem to rise from the building itself. A nice touch, we feel.
In terms of location, you’re a six-minute drive from the beautiful coastal town of Naoussa with its ancient harbour, traditional tavernas serving fresh seafood and a coastline of sandy beaches to explore.
Home truths: *Cleaning and pool maintenance takes place twice a week
*Guests here have access to a concierge service
*Having a car is recommended and there is private parking with the villa
