This Mykonos villa may be the picture of Cycladic tradition, but it also feels as though it’s got every little luxury you could imagine. Let’s start with the outside space. A rustic-style stone patio is fringed with date palms, and views reach out over the Aegean to Delos island. It’s hard to choose a favourite spot here, but it’s between the natural-style swimming pool that slips seamlessly into the stonework, or the full outdoor kitchen with its farmhouse-style bread oven for long, lazy lunches in the shade. Stone archways and wooden pergolas seclude chilled out seating spots for sunset views and there’s a bar in the outdoor kitchen area for the ultimate sundowner. On top of all this, the villa has its own chapel, white stone and ancient, particularly beautiful when silhouetted against the sunset. Inside, it’s a marriage of Cycladian traditional and 21st-century modern convenience. The round dining table with its stone-backed bench feels as though you’ve stepped back in time, but vibrant modern art pops against the pristine white walls. An entire wall of stone-built sofas sits beneath a wooden ceiling in the main living room and guest suites out in the garden come with their own seating areas and kitchenettes. Bagging the master bedroom means you have the entire top floor to yourself, with two terraces and a balcony and a sumptuous stone tub in the ensuite. In terms of location, you’re just an eight-minute drive from the buzz of Mykonos Town. While the famous beaches of Psarou, Super Paradise and Paragka are all within ten minutes by car.
