The simplicity of the space allows the natural surroundings of this villa to shine – we like how light-flooded the interiors are as well as the minimalist design touches. Though the kitchen is on the small side, the nearby village of Spartia offers authentic tavernas and a bakery. Pick up some produce and tuck in on your sun-dappled terrace before enjoying a siesta under the parasols or a dip in the pool.

*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Free on-site parking is available. Please note that access to the villa is via an unmade road, so low-wheel vehicles are not recommended.
*We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*The shower is open to the sleeping area which may not suit those looking for more privacy. The toilet, however, is behind a door.
*If you need to catch up on work during your stay, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
