Perched above the seaside village of Bali, this private villa is a calm, sun-soaked base for exploring Crete’s north coast. Four beaches, local tavernas, cafes and shops are all within easy walking distance, while lively Rethymno is a straightforward thirty-minute drive. Inside, the layout suits small families best – two guests sleep on a sofa bed in the living space – and outdoors, the private pool is the natural centrepiece for slow afternoons. From snorkelling in clear waters to unhurried beach days, it’s a relaxed setting for effortless, Mediterranean living.

Home truths:
*One small well-behaved pet (up to 10kg) is welcome to join you on request, at no extra charge. Please note that dangerous breeds are not permitted.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Free private parking is available on site and shared between the three villas (spaces are not reservable).
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st April and 30th November, and is accessed via steps, so may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
*To respect the tranquil setting, quiet hours are observed from 3pm – 5.30pm and 11pm – 7am in summer, and 3.30pm – 5.30pm and 10pm – 7.30am in winter.
*This home was purpose-built for rentals, so it's not the most soulful or charming space.
