Located in the sleepy village of Skouloufia, this relaxed villa boasts plenty of natural light and everything you need for a comfortable stay in Crete. After waking up in quiet bedrooms, pour yourself a coffee and plan the day’s agenda from the sofa, basking in the sunshine that streams through the clerestory windows. When hunger bites, call upon the help of a private chef to rustle up something tasty for breakfast. Dine together on the terrace before picking out a lounger to work on your tan. Should you need to cool off, plunge into the pool and float around in the refreshing water. If you’re a group who like to explore on holiday, embark on a walking tour arranged by your helpful host or jump in the car and take the short drive to the beach – it was one of our favourite places to watch the sunset.
