With all the independence of a self-contained villa plus all the handy amenities of a small complex, this home is set in lush gardens in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. Just a few minutes walk from Tersanas Beach, it's comfortable and charming, with incredible views all the way to the White Mountains. Here you can start the day with breakfast on the terrace, and follow it up with a swim in your private freshwater infinity pool. Spend the day on the beach or at the site's communal pool, or take the kids to the outdoor play area to let off some steam. There's a well-equipped kitchen at home and a communal poolside snack bar to choose between, or buy some local produce and whip up a barbecue on the terrace. Inside, the home is full of character, with a traditional, home from home feel. You'll have plenty of comfy bedrooms to pick from; two with access to outside spaces where you can relax in peace with a good book. Head into Chania on the bus in less than half an hour for evenings out, or just stay in this lovely, peaceful area where you'll find a choice of tavernas within walking distance.
