Just a few minutes walk from the beach and with a balcony and terrace, we found this Crete home to be perfect for sun lovers. The pool's triangular shape means you're unlikely to be swimming lengths, but it's a nice spot to cool off. Alternatively, the alfresco area lets you enjoy the heat in the shade – cocktails optional. The home is surrounded by other villas, so you won't find much in the way of a view here, but the beach is just 200 metres away. If you want to explore the rest of the island, take advantage of the free parking here or head to the nearby bus stop.
