It requires quite a few steps to reach, but once at the bottom, you'll be able to paddle in the Aegean and relax in the salt-tinged breeze quite easily. With a main house and a private apartment, this home is perfect for families, and you'll find enough space inside and out for the whole brood. Stand-out features include a panoramic swimming pool, an in-house gym (with sea views to boot) and access to a concierge to arrange things like daily housekeeping, private chefs and other extras. There's plenty to keep you busy at home, but for adventure further afield, Heraklion is about 20 kilometres away.

While the bathrooms aren't photographed, expect the quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
Five of the bedrooms are in the main house. The sixth is in a private apartment with a kitchen, living room and dining area.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair on request. The two single beds can also be pushed together to form a king-sized bed if needed.
We suggest hiring a car in this location. There's on-site parking for ten cars.
You'll have access to a private pebble beach here. You'll have to climb steep stairs built into the cliff to reach it.
Daily housekeeping is included, and linen and towels are changed three times a week.
