It feels nice and secluded – the gardens add a sense of privacy – but you’re only a five-minute drive from the beach and tavernas of Agia Pelagia, and fifteen minutes from Heraklion. Hiring a car will help you get the most out of your stay, as there’s plenty to explore nearby.
