This Athens apartment is located in the Pagrati neighbourhood which offers many sights and attractions reachable in a short walk or drive – plus, it’s surrounded by a range of diverse bars, cafes and restaurants – making it the perfect base for exploring the city and immersing yourself in the culture.
With direct access from the bedroom to the large sunlit yet shaded patio, we would love to begin each morning here with a fresh coffee from the machine in the kitchen and enjoy it alfresco on the balcony. After an invigorating breath of fresh air, head out and start ticking off your bucket list. Start by running or walking in athletes' footsteps at the Panathenaic Stadium – reachable in just six minutes on foot – which is the only stadium in the world made entirely of white marble. Then, venture a little further a visit the Acropolis – which is just an eleven-minute drive or twenty-seven-minute walk away.
In the evening, why not dine in one of the many restaurants – from Michelin star dining to casual eateries – which are reachable in as little as one minute on foot from your door. Or, pick up some produce from the organic grocery next door and dine alfresco on the patio as the sun sets.
