There's an awful lot riding in this apartment's favour. First, there's the fact that it's up on the top floor of the building and there are superb views of Filopapou Hill to be enjoyed from the balcony. What's more, there's plenty of seating in this space from which to admire the landscape, as well as a hot tub big enough for two.
Rather impressively, the interior lives up to this impressive outdoor space. The design is fresh and contemporary, with white walls broken up by monochrome artwork and green house plants. The kitchen is both sleek and decently sized compared to other apartments of a similar size, while the grey bathroom wouldn't look out of place in some of the city's most coveted hotels.
What's more, many of Athen's most famous attractions are easily reached on foot. The Acropolis, for example, is just under twenty-five minutes' walk, as is the Temple of Olympian Zeus. A little closer to home — and to the current day, for that matter — the National Museum of Contemporary Art is five minutes' walk.
Home truths: *There's a lift in the building to reach this single-level apartment on the fourth floor
*There is unrestricted free on-street parking here
