Villa Meike (Insel Poel)

We were really looking forward to this short break but unfortunately we got the worst house! Everything was very old and musty, the entrance door squeaked and was hard to close, the towel rail in the bathroom was broken, the beds were a disaster, the promised sauna was there but so musty that we didn't even want to go into this extra house... all in all a disgrace for this price

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the accommodation there: the entrance door was difficult and loud to open (and not just recently, judging by the marks on the tiles), little storage space, not really clean, cleaning products and cleaning equipment were stored in the children's room and the door there didn't open properly either, the stones on the steps at the patio door were loose, garden furniture was broken or very wobbly, sauna was unusable. Fly screen broken. Expected more for the price. A shame

Despite small defects in the FH (which we overlook with a smile), it was another relaxing week. Our priority is the proximity to the beach and the fenced-in garden for the dog (both unbeatable). We keep coming back.

Great location. Perfect with a dog. Facilities OK. Completely sufficient for 2 children, 2 adults and 1 dog

The accommodation was perfectly adequate for us. (2 adults, 1 dog). It would be too small for us with children, especially in bad weather. The proximity to the beach is great. The only downside: We would have liked a small covered seating area in the garden, so you could get a taste of the sea air even when it was raining. I can only speak for us, we would love to come back. Otherwise, if you're looking for something to complain about, you'll always find something!!!

This FH is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet near the beach with beautiful hiking trails. Especially ideal for dog owners because the garden is fenced. The FH has everything you need. We had nothing to complain about.

House very lovingly furnished, clean, well maintained. Good starting point for excursions, garden well fenced (great for dog owners), opposite construction site, but no activity due to public holidays...

When we arrived we had to realize that important information (mega construction site right in front of the front door) was withheld from us!!! Being woken up every morning by a vibrating plate is no fun!!! from the plot entrance to the street there was a height difference of at least 50-80 cm. It was a challenge to overcome during the day (especially on arrival and departure - loading and unloading pastries and we're not talking about the 100m walk)!!! but breakneck at night without light!!

Accommodation with a beautiful garden for children, unfortunately cobwebs including spiders had to be removed from the bungalow first (final cleaning?) the short walk to the beach does not make up for the generally shabby condition of the property, some non-functioning devices such as CD players, shower fittings difficult to use , insect protection on the window partially broken, construction site in front of the property - missing information from the landlord Conclusion - price-performance ratio does not fit

We were very satisfied with the house, unfortunately it was a bit shabby, but the proximity to the beach and the sauna were great. We spent a wonderful holiday and really relaxed. The house is highly recommended for dog owners because the property is fenced.

The accommodation was very poorly cleaned, there were cobwebs in the corners and dust bunnies everywhere. The attached fly screens were broken and not everywhere. Some pieces of furniture were damaged and also very dirty. The curtains and blinds partially damaged and not usable. The overall impression left a lot to be desired, and was absolutely not in the price-performance ratio.

The house is close to the sea, which is nice too, but nobody has cleaned it for a long time, the inventory is partly broken and dirty. The lawn was not mowed, it was very high, this was done later. We've been to Poel many times, but we've never had that before. Nevertheless, after I cleaned first, we had a nice week.
