see also next column. We drove by car to the Weser, about 6 km and from there we could cycle wonderfully to Hameln and Rinteln. on the way there along the right bank and back with the ferry and then the left bank, beautiful views and the Extertal in the background.

We - two adults and a dog - spent a lovely week in January in the tastefully furnished holiday home and enjoyed the nearby walks. Only the high costs - 140 euros - for electricity consumption (heating the bathroom on level 2 and one-time use of the oven) somewhat spoiled our holiday happiness.
