Sielmühle

The Sielmühle is a romantic holiday home, and something a little different. Very good for 2 people, less so with small children and people who are not good at walking, as there are obviously only very steep stairs in the mill. The kitchen is well equipped. We booked the Sielmühle in winter. I had brought hot water bottles with me to be on the safe side. But the mill is well insulated from the inside and has modern insulating windows and is therefore comfortably warm. Nevertheless, the mill has its mill character due to the many old beams and wooden floors and of course the millstone on the 1st floor receive 2 bathrooms on the ground floor and 1st floor are comfortable the ground floor is lovingly furnished with old objects and the kitchen is well equipped we will be back next year

We were allowed to spend a very special holiday in a beautiful accommodation. The attention to detail was clearly felt. Thanks a lot for this.

We were here for the second time and can only recommend the mill. Ideal for a large family with slightly older children. Very good personal equipment, great garden and lots of rest. In the small town, the "Piepmatz" offers fresh rolls from 7 a.m. and we can recommend the Hafensänger for dinner.

We spent a very nice time in the windmill, the weather wasn't at its best, but it was still very nice. I can only recommend.

A completely renovated old mill with great attention to detail. Everything was there that you need. We had a very nice 14 days.

If you like exceptional accommodation with charm, you will love the mill. The enclosed garden is also lovely. At the entrance to the area, a sign would be urgently needed stating that this mill cannot be visited, since we had a few "interested" people in front of our door. Since there is no drip tray for hand washing in the kitchen, this would be a good addition.

Mill really something special, friendly reception, but with 6 people would be too small for me. There were only two of us and we had two dogs with us. Small but adequate garden, good facilities, just great. So the property is recommended for two people or a small family with a dog. Unfortunately, in our opinion, Ostfriesland is quite unfriendly to dogs, the beach, restaurants, etc. Dogs are not very welcome here. Here in Holland we had completely different experiences. A

Lovingly and comfortably furnished, everything you need is there. Partly due to the way the mill is built, it is angled, which is what makes the apartment so charming. Well suited for families with older children, less for small children because of steep stairs. Quiet location, large, secluded garden with terrace, deck chairs, beach chair and barbecue hut. Here you can relax well. Shop for fresh bread in town, supermarket about 2 km away. Bike path in the immediate vicinity.

On arrival we found spotlessly clean and well-kept accommodation. We were unlucky that the heating was defective, but everything was fixed by Mr. P. as quickly as possible. We felt very comfortable there during the week....

Beautiful accommodation well equipped in areas that were not immediately visible there was a thick layer of dust, so that after taking over the accommodation we were busy vacuuming and left early due to the dust pollution when the key was returned there was no apology, but funny attempts at explanations.

It was a wonderful and relaxing holiday in this stylish and quiet mill!!!!! The manager couple was very friendly and accommodating!!!! We would love to visit the mill again!

The location and facilities were sensational. The only note: a key to lock the gate to the garden would be desirable. During the week suddenly had 5 groups of people in the garden who wanted to visit the mill.

Since the description does not contain any information about the coffee machine. In the kitchen there is a coffee machine for filter coffee as well as a machine for coffee pods. Unfortunately there is no possibility to grill. The beautiful seating area in the garden would be ideal for this.
