Donja is an artist, so it’s no wonder that Flashdance has an artistic flair. Located in charming Prenzlauer Berg, it’s one of those homes that appears a lot bigger than it actually is, largely due to its light colour palette and sophisticated design solutions. The minimalist kitchen is great for cooking breakfast before a day of sightseeing – it is worth noting that there’s no oven or microwave. And as an added bonus, Donja displays some of her own artworks in this home too.

*Guest 3 would be on a futon in the living room
*This is a ground floor home, so it doesn’t get a lot of natural light
*When we visited, the wifi was a bit slow
*The kitchen is well equipped in terms of utensils – but it doesn’t have an oven or microwave
*The bedroom is on the smaller side – it’s pretty much just a room for sleeping
