The house is described as 300 meters from the lake. Unfortunately, this means the Ruschweiler See, in which you cannot swim. Lake Illmen can only be reached by car. It is also not a holiday home complex, but only this one privately rented house.

Beautiful location with panoramic view over valley with lake. Clean house: suitable for 2 to 3 people. 1st floor fine; good kitchen and bathroom, living room with balcony, 2 bedrooms with (too) hard beds. Ground floor: unpleasant cellar smell, but cool. Bed linen worn. Decor dated and in need of updating. Terrace is not inviting, Garden furniture in moderate condition. Beautiful surroundings, very quiet, great base for trips to Lake Constance. Owner friendly.

This house is for people who do not value luxury, but seek and appreciate nature and comfort.

The house is very noisy. In addition, the hot water and heating were not sufficient for the size of the house. Overall, everything seemed old. The additional electricity costs were surprisingly high, around 110 euros for a week the location on the lake.

In January we had almost 130 € additional costs for the electricity although we were cold in the beds and hardly showered. Ineffective electric heating and poorly insulated windows and walls. Virtually nothing can be seen from the "Alpenblick". The hut is far too expensive for the quality (no microwave, ...). The pictures are deceiving!

Quaint house with a view of the lake, lots of wood and a pleasant atmosphere! Everything you need is there, but it's a bit old!

We spent a quiet and relaxed holiday. The hosts are very nice and do everything to ensure a relaxing holiday. Everything worked great and easy from the first to the last day. The view from the balcony is awesome and the location is also very nice, you can start hiking or cycling straight away. For swimming, it is only a few minutes' walk down to the lake.

Small, rustic hut reminiscent of vacations in Austria, beautifully clad with wood on the inside. Modern kitchen and bathroom, as well as three beautifully rustic bedrooms, my two boys and I felt very comfortable there. There is a lot to experience in the area, so that we could experience something different every day in a maximum of 30 minutes' drive. We'd love to come back!

Great location, friendly welcome, lots of space, nice kitchen, only the house and especially the garden could use some renovation and the garden in particular could do with more care! The Ruschweiler See is a dream, but there is only a very narrow entrance. 10-20 minutes walk from the house, depending on sportiness! The Ilmensee has a very nice lido. The restaurants on site are good!

A satisfying place to stay in beautiful Lake Illmen.

Good location, view of the small lake, swimming is possible. Either in the small lake or 2km further in the Illmensee. Bakery in the village. Good bread and baked goods. Having bicycles is an advantage. The house is really old and in the basement it is cold even in summer and it has to be aired regularly (damp smell).

Great. Everything was tastefully decorated and very clean.

The house is not a luxury villa, but it is well equipped and clean. Suitable for everyone who wants to experience a quiet holiday.

cottage proper for 2 adults and 2–3 children. Peace and quiet. Comfortable beds, good equipment.

Getting old, a lot of weeds on paths and in the garden.
