Located just a ski poles throw from La Tania's slopes and chairlifts (five minutes, to be precise) and with direct piste access straight from your door, the setting of this traditional chalet is hard to beat.

Part of the vast Three Valleys ski area, La Tania is more traditional than its glitzy nearby cousins, Meribel and Courchevel (both less than a twenty-minute drive away), but there's still plenty going on. Take a five-minute stroll through the quaint streets to its pedestrianised centre to discover bustling shops and restaurants offering up everything from pizza to fondue.

Back at home, this chalet delivers all the Savoyard-style vibes – think exposed beams, stacks of wood, and a roaring fire at its heart. After a day on the pistes, kick off your ski paraphernalia in the ski and boot room (complete with nifty boot dryers) before spilling out into the charming living area beside the fire. Or keep the apres-ski vibes going outside with a glass of wine on the terrace or soak in the private hot tub. And when thoughts turn to food, the vast dining table with views of the snow-capped trees is the perfect setting for a post-slope feast.
