Practical and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace, bar and TV. 1 room with 1 french bed (160 cm). 1 room with 2 beds. Exit to the balcony. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds and 1 x 2 bunk beds. 1 room with 2 x 2 bunk beds. Exit to the balcony. Large kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, Gas stove, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)) with hatch. Bath/WC, 3 showers, 2 sep. WC's. Heating not available in all rooms. Large balcony. Terrace furniture, deck chairs (4). Very beautiful view of the mountains and the countryside. Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Multipass included in Summer.

In the house: sauna, relaxation room, washing machine (extra), tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). 2 km long narrow motor access to the house (mountain road). In Winter: please take snow chains. Parking at the house. Tennis 3 km, sports centre 3 km, walking paths from the house 1 m, cable car 3 km, ski rental 3 km, ski bus stop 400 m, ice field 3 km. Nearby attractions: Monthey 14 km, Aigle 26 km, Montreux 37 km, Fondation Pierre Gianadda, Martigny 43 km, Musée Olympique Lausanne 60 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Portes du Soleil. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lac Léman 32 km. Hiking paths: Portes du Soleil. Please note: car recommended.

The apartment is spacious and we have had a great time in Champery. Everything in the house was functional and the washing machine and dryer are helpful (especially when travelling with kids. The kitchen is really equipped for large groups. The host was very friendly.

We enjoyed a great stay, the apartment is spacious, we appreciated the fireplace and the sauna, the superb view of the Dents du Midi, multiple ski slopes and hikes, very nice village with the large sports center offering plenty of of activities as well as the shuttle bringing us back to the chalet. It's great!

From the pictures you could already see that the best years are behind it. The landlord was very nice on the phone at first, and didn't want a deposit either. You sauna didn't work, was dirty and musty sanitary facilities. Dirty dishes in the cupboards, cobwebs dust everywhere and freezing cold. We had to heat the fireplace non-stop and it wasn't comfortable either. We broke off and were also insulted by the landlord because we didn't speak French, which was very condescending.

Switzerland is worth a trip. If you are looking for simple accommodation with lots of space and a great landlord, this is the place for you. The facility was functional and we had everything we needed. In addition to a large kitchen, there were several bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The accommodation is well located to start great hikes. The landscape is a dream.

Although we knew that accommodation was an old chalet, still we were surprised by several things. Kitchen equipment is very outdated. We managed to use the dishwasher, but it did not work couple of times. Also was not easy to cook with electrical cooker,where only one cooking ring worked. We did not use the washing machine, because we saw the neighbors washing all the water on the floor from the washing machine. We still had a great holiday, however quite surprised by the unusual Swiss standards. Probably the chalet was initially cheaper than other accommodations, however with additional costs on top (about 200 CHF) it was not that cheap for the quality we had.
