Les Velours

We spent two wonderful weeks in Provence. Tavernes is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The house's beautiful outdoor area was perfect for relaxing. However, the interior of the house left a lot to be desired. Built in the 1980s, it is in dire need of modernization. Some of the kitchen equipment was no longer usable, so we had to buy new pots, pans, plates, and a colander. It's a real shame.

This is our third time here. A beautiful, quiet location, a lovely pool and grounds. The owner seems to have no interest in renovating or updating the house. The apartment has had broken and loose tiles for six years. The shower only has a handheld showerhead. The dishes and glasses are a mess. No Wi-Fi. And at the pool, there's the constant problem of the plastic loungers and chairs being very brittle and dangerous.

This was our second time in this house and we had a wonderful three weeks' holiday. The pool was great and was cleaned every now and then. The fenced property is ideal for a holiday with a dog. Unfortunately, the house needs renovation. The plastic furniture on the terrace and the pool loungers in particular are very worn out by the sun (risk of breakage). Special thanks to Mrs. B. for the uncomplicated handling.

The house is ideally located for excursions in the surrounding area and is perfect for relaxing after strenuous tours. The simple furnishings are not disturbing and are easy to live with. However, a thorough cleaning of all rooms and cupboards is lacking. The dishes were not very clean either. The pillows urgently need to be replaced. Blankets cleaned. The owner is called upon here. The price for the final cleaning is not justified.

Unfortunately, three wonderful weeks of vacation went by far too quickly! We felt very comfortable there. Special thanks go to the B. family for the problem-free key handover and support! This house is really recommendable! Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend there.

This holiday home far exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, well and functionally furnished. The pool, a dream. The fenced property is ideal for dog owners. We spent three wonderful, relaxing weeks here. To top it off, getting a parasol by the pool would be highly advisable!!!
