Hikers can hit the trails of Les Gorges de Véroncle, a short walk away. The walled garden is home to a summer kitchen for lazy lunches outside and the swimming pool awaits after a day’s exertion. Sleek and monochrome, the open living area and kitchen belies the traditional exterior. The ground-floor bedroom opens up to the poolside terrace and both upstairs rooms have sweeping countryside views.
