Grasse is a historic town in Provence that you can smell before you see – the world’s capital of perfume. This feast for the senses is four minutes by car from your luxe villa in the verdant hills of the Parc Naturel Régional des Préalpes d'Azur. Plus the sparkling coast of Cannes is just a thirty-minute drive. With so much going on nearby, thank goodness you've got a place to relax and recline. Whether you’d rather laze by your heated pool or on a comfy sun lounger, this home can offer it all (just make sure that you’ve always got a glass of champagne in hand while you’re at it). If you’re outdoors, the traditional exterior is sure to charm you. It might look similar to a rustic farmhouse, but the outdoor lounge and alfresco dining terrace say otherwise. Once you’ve taken in the views of the hills and valleys, step inside. Strutting across the glossy, white tiles of the lounge feels more Hollywood Hills than rural France. We love the glass fireplace and understated colour scheme, creating a sophisticated and modern vibe throughout. While decorative designer pieces will catch your eye as you explore, you’ll find it hard to ignore that incredible view again – it’s even better from your private balcony or the bathtub. More champagne?

But Cannes' dazzle reaches far beyond the flash of the paparazzi's cameras. Yes, Porsche-admiring and celeb-spotting are some of this city’s perennial pastimes, but scratch beneath the surface and you’ll see a city rich in culture and natural beauty. Stroll along...
