Aiguines Apartment 3

Beautiful apartment in a quiet, panoramic location, decent size, well-equipped, with a lovely large balcony and a small balcony with a lake view. A large kitchen with a breakfast bar and a nice dining table is available. Access is via a narrow road and a steep descent. Unfortunately, the key pick-up is about 6 km away, and we only found it with the help of the cleaning lady we happened to meet. However, we would come back anytime!

We (a couple with a dog) spent two weeks in the Aiguines vacation apartment in September 2025. We found the two balconies very pleasant and enjoyed using them. The ceiling height is impressive and certainly beneficial in hot weather. The kitchen was well equipped, and what we found worked. The apartment is equipped with electric heating, which we used on two evenings; it warms up quickly. From this apartment, we only had a partial view of the lake.

Beautiful quiet apartment with a view of the Sainte Croix du Verdon lake

The apartment house is on a slope and offers a beautiful view of the lake from one of the two balconies. The apartment is clean and functional. The decoration could be a bit more modern... Bauduen is a beautiful little place where you can get everything you need. This part of the lake is quiet and not so crowded. However, you always need the car, as the way up to the house is quite steep and there is only one path along the lake to Bausduen.

It was a nice apartment with everything you need. We lacked nothing. It is not far by car to the many bathing spots on the lake. We would book here again. Only the beds were a bit too small, just 140 cm French with a continuous mattress. Everything else regional rustic but to feel good. The internet is very unstable and crashed several times a day. Plug it out and back in and it worked again. That several times a day. But was manageable.

The apartments are beautifully located, but you have to put up with a somewhat difficult journey. Be sure to choose an apartment with a lake view! The sunset is really beautiful. The equipment was basic and it could have been cleaner. The landlords were very nice and uncomplicated.

The house is very nice with a great view of the lake. After Bauduen it is about 2km to the lake less than 1km. It is very difficult to reach on foot as it is a long, very steep walk. (Car is required!) Also very important: it must not be a lowered car. You won't get far here. The apartment is very clean, fully equipped and can accommodate 6 people. The walls are very thin, you shouldn't be sensitive here. You overhear every conversation...The owners don't speak English - only French. But you can communicate well with hands and feet or with the help of online translators. The internet keeps dropping out – after you pull the plug and plug it in again, it works again straight away. 2.3 small restaurant and a vinotheque. The nearest supermarket is in Aups (about 14km away or in Les Salles also about 15km away.) The beach near the house is very slippery, which not everyone likes. At Les Salles is something nicer. Overall very nice - one of the nicest apartments there, so far! Always my pleasure!
