This 19th-century chateau knows how to make an entrance. Set within the sprawling grounds of a private estate, it has a heated swimming pool and its own lake. There's space for up to fifteen of you to pile in here with bedrooms spread across the two upper floors, some featuring bathrooms cleverly tucked into the towers. Families are particularly well catered for – there’s a playroom in the main house and a separate games room with table tennis, racquet games and even an electric drum kit. When you’re ready to venture out, the lively town of Agen is fifteen minutes away, while the surrounding bastide villages and the River Lot – with its beaches and watersports – make for wonderful day trips.

*While not all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*The eighth bedroom, located on the second floor, is designed as a family room, with one double bed, a set of bunk beds and a toddler bed.
*Some of the other bedrooms feature single beds which can be moved by guests with prior approval.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide two cots, two high chairs and a changing table. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
