The house was perfect for being peaceful in June in an idyllic setting, you felt like you were alone in the middle of the forest. On the other hand, I will not make the same reservation in July and August, the superior rooms are too hot, no fan and Lacanau in June is just perfect, not too many people

We were there as a family of six. The house is on the highest point of a small hill. The lake is not visible. The house faces south-east and opens up to the forest, so the location is very quiet. The house itself and the furnishings are from the late 70s or early 80s. The original furnishings, however, are of very high quality. The kitchen has been renovated, but not the stove. It is musty, without WiFi, but with charm.
