Le Chalet Apartment 2 Cabourg, Normandy

The apartment is a 2-minute walk from the beautiful beach and 5 minutes from the city. The apartment was as described and big enough for 4 adults. It was freshly cleaned and clean. The front garden was very big, unfortunately the garden furniture was porous and partly broken, but it was enough. Maybe you could put a toaster there and basic cleaning products. But we had everything with us, including towels and bed linen. The beds were tip-top with clean bedding and pillows. Recommended!

The rental is very good, but lack of dishes, smell of urine in the toilets which are also the bathroom. Clothes dryer completely dilapidated, provide bath mat, large bowl, pasta strainer, seafood cutlery, scissors and bleach

The interior of the house is in need of an update. Kitchen facilities are very limited. The fridge is missing almost all racks in the door and has no freezer. In addition, the kitchen was not clean. For WiFi, 5 euros per day must be paid, which is no longer common in 2021.

The rental would have been perfect with the exception of the cleaning which is extremely brief. We would have to change subcontractors. Same thing for the towels which are tiny and very thin. They do not correspond at all to current standards. Fortunately, the branch manager managed the shortcomings as well as possible.

Id for the washing machine not recent and a little rusty….

Good stay good location

Used paper tissues in the bed with hairs.dirty accommodation greasy and dirty dishes dust. Quilt smelly and full of stains.

Holiday home is very centrally located and close to the sea. The house is very dated and could use a facelift. For example, half of the lamps in the bathroom were broken. Inventory is a mess but sufficient. The TV works but is from the last century. Garden is great but no garden furniture available other than 2 broken plastic chairs.

Charming accommodation in Cabourg close to the sea and promenade. Perfect starting point if you want to go around Normandy. In our case, visit the invasion beaches and other war memorials. Good and pleasant treatment by all the staff at Interhome with whom we were in contact. A trip that gave memories for a lifetime.
