Le Caneton Villa 4 Cabourg, Normandy

An exceptional location, disappointing services in an apartment with minimal comfort (cramped kitchen, no real bathroom, creaky floorboards, etc.). Deplorable reception system at the agency.

We spent a very good weekend in this apartment on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the sea. The location is very practical, right next to the beach, not far from the city center of Cabourg. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor of the building.

excellent reception service, apartment better than in the photos, just have a GOOD cleaning, it would really do him good, and clean or change the sanitary facilities.

The bedding in the room was not of good quality, mattress too soft and back pain. In the kitchen, the microwave did not heat up, which is a shame. Other than that, the remotes didn't work. Average location, its main asset is the sea view.

There is a restaurant in the same residence. So it makes permanent noise from their ventilation system, smell of fried food, and small vibration in the apartment from 5 am to midnight. The worst apartment that we rented in the company.

The accommodation needed a major cleaning but past that it is pleasant. It is true that you can hear the ventilation of the kitchens of the restaurant located on the ground floor, but the view is so beautiful that you forget about this nuisance. The brand new bedding was very good.

Nice building (former hotel). Beautiful location. Quite well equipped. Antique furniture (not XXX!) North, west and south windows. Sea and city view. We were very happy with our trip. On the other hand, the mattresses really deserve to be replaced urgently!

Thew only positive feature was the fantastic location on the beach. The general condition of the apartment was really poor. Several electrical installations in the gangway and the apartment were clearly dangerous, it was old dirt in the corners. The furniture was in rather bad shape, and there was a strange smell in the kitchen and bathroom. The seafood restaurant downstairs provided a genuine scent of raw fish in the stairway. I could not see any smoke or fire detectors in the apartment.

It's a pity that the duct of the restaurant's extractor hood passes between the window of the living room and that of the bedroom, because the noise of the motor is very unpleasant, causing, in addition, when the power is strong, vibrations on the walls and on the floor at the meal times, ranging, for the evening until 10:30 p.m. see 11:30 p.m. The power supply to the radiator in the bathroom is dangerous, there is a risk of tripping over the cable and tearing it off. Other than that, the view of the sea is magnificent.

Sea view certainly, but dirty windows and old furniture, limited bedding, non-existent cleaning, dirty dishes on our arrival .. hope that all this will be reviewed for the next visitors !! Highly recommend for the view and location.
