La Presqu'île Apartment 7 Cabourg, Normandy

We had a wonderful week in apartment La Pesqu'ile. The apartment was perfect for our family of four and on the days when the weather permitted, the terrace and the beautiful view were really enjoyed. However, we lacked real sunbeds - either on the terrace or by the shared pool. The two towns, Dives-Sur-Mer and Cabourg, are only separated by the river Dives. Both cities are wonderful to visit and everything is within walking distance. There are lovely bakeries, nice cafes and good shops in both towns and we enjoyed strolling around in the evening.

Apartment is spacious. However, the kitchen is not suitable for more than 3 people, as there are only 2 smaller stovetops. Unfortunately the apartment was not cleaned at all. We encountered a lot of dust, dirt, unemptied garbage cans. Dishes and kitchen were greasy/dingy.

We came back yesterday from our holiday in Cabourg. I (46, male) stayed in the apartment with my 3 children (11, 14 and 16 years old). The climate is not too hot there, which I really prefer. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach of Cabourg. Without a car you are badly served, but you get a nice parking space in the underground car park. The only criticism: Wifi very slow, bathrooms rather very little aired, some furnishings poorly repaired. Otherwise clean!

We stayed for 8 days in August 2022 and had mixed feelings about the stay. The bedding in the bedroom with the 160 bed is catastrophic. It's really very limited to propose that. We get away with a huge back pain that will require sessions with the osteopath. Really a shame because the rest is correct and the view magnificent. The cleaning is also very average and in view of the price, some renovations would be more than necessary (wooden strip of the kitchen floor for example)

A really great apartment. We were there for 2 weeks and it wasn't just the view that was great. The apartment is on 2 floors on the 5th floor with elevator. The children had their own kingdom with 2 rooms and their own bathroom upstairs. We bedroom with bathroom then downstairs. The downside was that the downstairs toilet didn't have a sink and you had to walk halfway across the apartment. The apartment would also need to be renovated. Otherwise really great

A deep cleaning is necessary as well as to repair some things like the holder for the toilet paper. Still no new chairs for the terrace. All in all a lovely spacious apartment with great views and large terrace.

Apartment ideally located with a superb view. A beautiful outdoor swimming pool Very comfortable and spacious but a lack of cleanliness in the kitchen area and three out of five garden chairs broken! Small inconveniences that could easily be avoided... Hence my VERY GOOD or AVERAGE where I could have put EXCELLENT.

In detail, this rental has some minor weaknesses, related to the fact that its modernization is unfinished. But it conceals exceptional assets, starting with the view that its "full sky" terrace opens onto the port, the Dives and the sea. whose layout and equipment are far removed from the impersonal tourist residences.

The property offered for rent generally lacks maintenance and the cleaning is basic. We were disappointed. The building offers a terrace, its strong point, in discomfiture. Abandoned balcony, many places with mold, faded paint, damaged chairs, rusty dryer. The interior also leaves something to be desired. Difficult to move closet doors, dusty air vents, broken cabinet boards. How can we offer, at full price, this rental?

Nice apartment, the condition is a bit used. The apartment poorly cleaned. The location is very nice with a great view of the sea and the harbour. A little overpriced for the condition.

Good apartment, great location for beach, Cabourg center and boulevard and of course visiting other coastal towns. Two tips for improvement: the cleaning (the cutlery drawer as an example with crumbs etc and a lot of dust under the bed, a matter of good vacuuming) and the bedding (these were loose sheets and pillowcases, but no duvet cover where you can put a blanket).

Apartment is very well located, with super view. Apartment is spacious, but in need of a thorough renovation, a lot of things are worn and / or broken. Cleaning also leaves something to be desired, was not really clean.

Spacious apartment, with some faults quickly fixed by the agency, but above all with a 180 degree view with a large terrace, which the photos do not suggest...

The complex was nice, a bit simply furnished, but functional. With access to the swimming pool which was kept clean. The underground car park is also ideal, albeit a very narrow parking space. The view was breathtakingly beautiful. Much is within walking distance. Pretty old town, beautiful beach, gently sloping. Only the beds were narrow and we couldn't unfold the largest bed (sofa bed) properly. Even if they would otherwise have been comfortable...here's a minus.

The view from the apartment is superb. The layout leaves something to be desired due to poor design by the architect. For the price, the cleaning leaves something to be desired, ashtrays not emptied, windows summarily cleaned. The hobs are getting old.

Definitely the kitchen cupboard doors are always forgotten (fingerprints all around the wrists exactly as during our previous stay) too bad

Nice apartment with 3 real bedrooms. Superb terrace but no living room as the main room is the kitchen/dining room.
