Le lieu Landais Grandcamp-Maisy, Normandy

In April/May we had a lovely time in this spacious country house with 4 people. Quiet rural location, very nice German-speaking landlady. Facilities were complete (including WiFi + electric heating), we didn't miss anything and felt very comfortable.

The house is in an absolutely quiet location. Means of transport to the site/port/beach/shopping required.

Basically a nice house, but not very clean (dead spiders/webs everywhere). Shower head in disabled bathroom strapped up with cable ties (clip broken); had to cut it loose to make it useable. The landlord said it was difficult to get it fixed! Beds were cheap/poor quality. Internet unreliable. ‘Garden’ was actually a field; a bit in front of the house mown. Nothing supplied to occupy children; only 3 sun loungers. Lovely calm quiet surroundings, spoiled by lack of homely touches.

The location of the house is unique, absolutely quiet, lonely, shopping always by car. Television in the house only with some French. channels, no radio reception, no CD player.

The house is about 3 km from the town of Grandcamp-Maisy and the sea. There is everything on site that you need for a pleasant holiday. The prerequisite is that you are mobile (bicycle is sufficient). We spent the holiday with four adults in the house and had a lot of freedom due to the premises - completely relaxed. In the house everything is available that makes the holiday pleasant. The landlady speaks German.
