You couldn’t be better placed to experience Paris’ cultural delights than at this wonderfully central apartment just a stone’s throw from the banks of the Seine. Plush elegance is the name of the game when it comes to this home’s decor – from the parquet floors to the contemporary decor (we’re particularly fond of the green velvet scalloped chair) and the glossy finishes that make the whole space sparkle. Make yourself comfortable in the bright living room where French doors open onto Juliet balconies or gather around the long dining table for a sophisticated soirée over locally bought cheese and wine. The two bedrooms, meanwhile, are havens of style and rest with their luxuriously dressed beds and swish en-suites, promising a blissful night’s sleep and a relaxing wake-up up each day. When it’s time for some sightseeing, walk just eight minutes to visit the Centre Pompidou and wander around the Marais’ cobblestone streets or make a beeline for Notre Dame, a twelve-minute stroll away.
