Close to Canal Saint-Martin and Gare de l'Est's transport links, this apartment is a fuss-free base in a buzzing area. It's on the smaller side for eight – particularly the kitchenette – but it's stylish, sleek, and comfortable. We can easily envision breakfasts around the dining table – come dinnertime, pop to the bistro downstairs for a bite. You'll be based in the 10th arrondissement. While it's not the most scenic part of Paris, it's well-connected and full of places to discover. We think it's a great option for those wanting to stay in a vibrant neighbourhood with a lot of nightlife.

Home truths:
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area. We think space will be tight with it in use, so we'd suggest a maximum guest count of six.
*Given the home's central spot right above a restaurant, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*This apartment is on the first floor and is accessible only by stairs.
*As is common in France, one bathroom doesn't have a toilet.
