There's plenty of room for six, thanks to the sofa bed and dining area. Surrounded by diverse bars and eateries, you'll have your pick of where to eat. But if you prefer a quiet night in, the kitchen has everything you need for a home-cooked meal. For a rare Parisian treat, enjoy an evening glass on the private outdoor terrace.

Home truths:
*The pipework in this building is old, so expect an occasional odour from the shower drain.
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
*Your host provides a starter supply of coffee, but you might want to bring your own to top this up. The nearest supermarket for stocking up is a one-minute walk away.
*One well-behaved dog is welcome to accompany you during your stay.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
