This apartment in the 6th arrondissement is in a superb spot for seeing the sights. The Louvre and the Jardin du Luxembourg are a ten-minute walk away, and you can stroll to Notre-Dame in less than half an hour. While there’s space for four people, it could feel snug with the sofa bed set up, so couples or solo travellers might be happiest here. But if you’re looking for a comfortable base in Paris, with a kitchen for breakfast or cosy nights in, we think this is a great option. There’s also a Metro station a few minutes from the door, so you can easily explore more of the city.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*Though there's enough bed space for four people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of two.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. The nearest Metro station (Saint-Germain-des-Prés) is a two-minute walk away.
