This colourful apartment is small, but has everything you need for a couple's city escape. Rather than in a bedroom, you'll find the double bed on a mezzanine level above the main living space (so mind your head – the ceiling is only three feet high on the mezzanine), a kitchenette and breakfast bar for preparing light bites and authentic breakfasts. The location is the real highlight – a short walk from some of the city's most popular attractions like the Champs d'Élysées, Jardin des Tuileries, and the Seine. You'll also find authentic French restaurants right around the corner.

Home truths:
*The bedroom is on the mezzanine level, partially open to the main living space below, so privacy is limited.
*The ceiling on the mezzanine level is only three feet high, so you'll need to take extra care up there.
*Though there's enough bed space for four people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of two. Otherwise, at full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
