This studio apartment might be compact, but it more than makes up for it in terms of location. It's set within one of Paris' iconic covered arcades, up a steep staircase and a short stroll from the Louvre, Opéra Garnier and the Jardin des Tuileries. Up a steep staircase, you’ll find the front door, opening into a clever layout that incorporates a smart little kitchen that's ideal for whipping up simple meals – but let’s be honest, with so many chic restaurants, bars, and patisseries on your doorstep, there’s unlikely to be much cooking going on.

Home truths:
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
*The apartment is located on the second floor, without a lift and via a somewhat steep staircase.
*Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. The nearest Metro station is a five-minute walk away and you're within strolling distance of many of the city's top attractions.
