It's not a secret that this apartment's location is what initially caught our eye. Located on the banks of the Seine, Notre Dame is so close you'll be able to glimpse the spires from the windows. Plus, the Latin Quarter's many eateries and shops are just a short stroll away. Our favourite feature here is the wooden details, especially the timber ceilings – they are so charming and characterful. It's also split across two levels, so you'll have plenty of space, though it's worth noting that the building may not have a lift. With an incredible setting and comfortable living area, it ticks all the boxes for us.
Home truths: *This apartment is on the third floor, and the building may not have a lift. Expect to climb quite a few stairs. There are also stairs within the apartment leading to the three bedrooms.
*One bathroom doesn't have a toilet, which is common in France. However, there's a separate WC.
*There isn't a desk here, but the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
*This is a great location to go car-free. Landmarks, shops, restaurants, and metro stations are all within walking distance.
