Located in the vibrant 2nd arrondissement, this apartment drops you in the heart of Paris. It's a great base if sightseeing is at the top of your to-do list – the Louvre, Palais-Royal, and Opera Garnier are all within strolling distance. We love the bright and sophisticated decor back home. Expect sleek bathrooms (though one lacks a toilet), comfortable bedrooms, and an open-plan living area that encourages you to unwind in style. The kitchen is a tad snug, but there are plenty of places nearby to grab a coffee and a bite to eat.

*While the third bedroom isn’t photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*This apartment is on the second floor, but the building has a lift. Just note that accessing the elevator requires two steps.
*As is common in France, one bathroom lacks a toilet.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request.
*The kitchen is compact and doesn't have a lot of counter space. We think it's better to prepare lighter fare – plenty of eateries are a short walk away.
