You'll find this apartment in the 15th arrondissement, a short stroll from metro stations, shops, and eateries. It's a fantastic base if sightseeing is at the top of your to-do list – the most famous landmark of them all, the Eiffel Tower, is easily reached on foot. You can even glimpse the top of it from the private balcony – there may not be anywhere to sit, but the street views are quintessentially Parisian. Inside, the kitchen is compact, and you'll have to do most of your unwinding around the table since there's not a lot of space on the sofa. But, to be so close to the action, we think that's a worthwhile trade.
Home truths: *The small double bed only sleeps one guest, ideally a child. The third bathroom only has a shower and a sink – the toilet is separate. *At present, there's nowhere to sit on the balcony. However, it's still a nice spot to watch Paris pass by if you don't mind standing. *The kitchen is compact. We think it's best for rustling up light bites. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *You won't need a car in Paris. Instead of driving, explore on foot or take advantage of easily accessible public transportation. *If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
