This apartment puts the Eiffel Tower a twenty-or-so-minute stroll from your door. As far as locations go, we think it ticks the boxes – especially when you factor in all the amenities within walking distance, from shops and restaurants to a metro station. The apartment itself is more functional than flashy, but it still has everything you need to settle in. A clever pull-down desk is ideal for remote working, too. We think the second bedroom is a better fit for children, making this a practical choice for family stays.

*The bed in the second bedroom can sleep two adults at a squeeze, but we think it’s better for children.
*If you’re travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot upon request.
*As is common in France, the toilet is located separately from the bathroom in its own WC.
*Parking isn’t provided, but you won’t need a car here. You can explore on foot or take advantage of the nearby metro to explore further afield.
*Given the location on a lively street, expect to hear some noise during your stay.
