This independent and oh-so-stylish home in the heart of Le Marais is a rare Paris find. Upstairs, an elegant bedroom with an ensuite brings boutique-hotel vibes. While downstairs, the open-plan living space doubles as a second sleeping area, with a sofa bed for one. It’s worth noting the kitchen is on the compact side and better suited to lighter meals. But with Le Marais’ buzzy restaurant and café scene on your doorstep, we suspect you’ll be eating out. All the city's sightseeing hotspots are within easy reach from here. Make sure to visit the 17th-century Place des Vosges for people-watching, and the international food stalls of Marché des Enfants Rouges – both are just a stroll away.


Home truths:
*At full occupancy, the third guest will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
*The bedroom is on a mezzanine level and semi-open to the space below, so privacy is limited. It’s also worth noting that the only bathroom is located upstairs.
*This home is short on wardrobe space, so we'd recommend packing light if three guests are sharing.
*If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
*There are stairs within this home which may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
