If you're in Paris for business and need space to work remotely, this light-filled apartment in the Le Marais district should do the trick. Alongside the main bedroom, there's a secondary living room with a desk that doubles up brilliantly as a study. There's also a sofa bed, so it's just as well suited as a bedroom for two more guests. Set on the third floor with no lift, you'll need to tackle some stairs here – but that's commonplace for most historic buildings in central Paris. Location-wise, you're just a five-minute walk from the Picasso Museum and a fifteen-minute walk from Notre Dame – or perhaps a little longer with pitstops at the countless trendy cafes along the way.
