Holiday Rental Description

Located on the top floor of a typical Parisian building, this beautifully bright apartment is full of carefully curated details that make it a stunning base from which to explore the city. Light floods in through the large windows that dominate one side of the open-plan living space, as well as from the skylights. From the Persian rug to the trunk coffee table and shelves stacked with books and plants, the main room is as chic as it is comfortable. Kick back on the plump sectional with a glass of wine after a day of seeing the sights or gather around the kitchen’s breakfast bar – beneath the statement ceiling beam – for a celebratory soirée over locally bought cheese and charcuterie. There’s a desk space here too should you need to catch up on work, while downtime comes easy in the elegant white bedrooms – we’re particularly fond of the second bedroom’s skylight that provides all the romance of falling asleep beneath the stars. When you’re not spending time in your stylish pad, go out and explore your surroundings. The Canal Saint-Martin’s cosy waterside cafés are just a nine-minute walk away, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont is a ten-minute stroll and the vibrant Marais district is twenty minutes away on foot.

*This home is on the third floor of a building with no lift, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or guests bringing heavy luggage
*At maximum capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room
*The second mezzanine level bedroom is accessed via a ladder – there isn't much storage space in this room
*Aside from the kitchen's breakfast bar, there isn't a dining area
*The home's entrance is private
*Self-check-in is available
*There's no parking here, but we recommend skipping the car and using Paris' excellent public transport instead – Goncourt station is a four-minute walk away
*Gare du Nord (for Eurostar) is a twenty-five-minute walk away or seventeen minutes away by direct Metro (Line 5)
