This bolthole in the 11th arrondissement is the perfect base for a couple or solo traveller. As there isn’t heaps of space, we’d recommend this place for short breaks rather than longer trips. The kitchenette does just fine for light meals, but when you want something more substantial, you’re spoilt for choice with the range of restaurants on the doorstep. Location-wise, the Rue Saint-Maur metro station is a minute’s walk away, and you’re not far from the charming Marais neighbourhood.

*Please note, the bed can only be accessed from one side and the bedroom’s ceiling height is low, so you’ll need to mind your head. *You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob and a microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
