The building in which this apartment sits was built during Georges-Eugène Haussmann's renovation of the French capital in the nineteenth century, although you will be happy to hear that it's received a lot of love since then. In fact, the space was given a complete makeover in 2020 and you can get a sense of this modernity in every room, from the tiling in the bathrooms and the chevron parquet flooring in the living area, to the tropical design on the kitchen wall. The communal space benefits from two French doors, which let in ample amounts of natural light and lead out onto a small balcony where you can gaze down at Parisian street life below. The central location means that there's plenty to do when you want to explore. The local neighbourhood is teeming with theatres if you fancy catching a show, while Centre Pompidou is only twenty minutes' walk away if you're in an artsy mood.
Home truths: *A cot, high chair and baby bath, as well as children's tableware, books and toys, can be provided by the host if required
*There's paid-parking available five minutes' walk from the apartment
*The apartment building has no elevator, so this home might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility
