Located in Paris’ enchanting Marais district – where cobbled streets are packed with cosy cafés, vintage boutiques and historic buildings – this sophisticated apartment is an ideal base for those looking to get the most out of the city’s famous sights. Occupying a corner position with views of the Hôtel de Ville’s forecourt, this home has been carefully curated with style and comfort in mind and with more than just a touch of Parisian chic in its decor too. Wood floors, high ceilings and tall windows greet you in the open-plan living space where a sofa invites you to kick back and relax over a glass of French wine and a table beckons intimate soirées when you’re not out sampling the local food scene. The bedroom is our favourite spot with its floor-to-ceiling windows framing a luxuriously dressed bed, while the en-suite shower room promises a relaxing soak beneath its rainfall shower – the perfect way to start the morning ahead of a day of sightseeing. Speaking of exploring, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to cultural hotspots nearby. Both Notre Dame and the Louve are a thirteen-minute walk, the romantic Pont des Arts is a seventeen-minute stroll and the Île Saint-Louis is fifteen minutes away on foot. You’re also a twenty-three-minute walk from the Canal Saint-Martin and its waterside cafés, while the Musée National Picasso-Paris is fourteen minutes on foot from your door.

About Île de la Cité

Ile de la Cité is one of the two natural islands known as the official epicentre of Paris, where the medieval city was founded. With only 1,000 inhabitants, it's definitely exclusive! The streets are picture perfect, with paved streets and curving walls aplenty. With these film-star looks, you’ll inevitably see a fair amount of tourists during the daytime, though you'll also see plenty of Parisians too: simply crossing the Seine,...
