You don't need us to tell you that Paris is one of the most stylish cities on the planet — apartments like this do it without needing any words. Two tall windows on the far side of the living space are particularly generous when it comes to natural light and this asset is accentuated by the wooden floorboards, reflective surfaces and furnishings in muted tones. The kitchen is a minimalist triumph of matt grey surfaces and subtle underlighting, while the rainfall showers in the contemporary bathrooms will make it easier than ever to drag yourself out of bed in the morning. Rather fittingly for an address that's so easy on the eye, there are plenty of galleries that lie nearby, including Metiers Art Museum and Centre Pompidou both around five minutes' walk away.
